Ellenboro and Bostic NC hit by an F-2 tornado leveling homes and distroying farms, out buildings, fencing and much more. The amazing community response to the disaster is on going. Many of our tornado victums do not have coverage for the damage that distroyed their homes and property. To see the completion of the first home would be enormous. Our county has been hit hard by the financial downturn and to help would be uplifting to all. The Hendersons are an elderly couple that were trapped in their home when it was distroyed. Byron Cole was picked up in his mobile home and was severly injured fracturing a femur. His home was distroyed, but a mobile home has been donated to him and needs repair. The Owens family lost their home. Many farmers had severe barn damage not covered by insurance. Fifteen properties damaged, 3 homes distroyed, 6 barns damaged or distroyed. As you can see the love of god and the community would like to work this miricle. Please take a moment to see how you can help!

02/04/2012 - Community Super Saturday - Thank you Volunteers!
On 02/4/2012 - First home built and is in the dry for the Henderson's. Front and back deck completed on Byron's home. Repairs on going on the third home. The Owens home to be delivered! 15 other properties volunteers cut trees, split wood, stacked bricks, lowered a barn roof and prepared outbuildings for repair. Multiple churches prepared meals breakfast, lunch and dinner for 350- 400 volunteers for Super Saturday Community Service event. Rain and shine all showed up to lend a hand......
On 02/04/2012, Our community will come together on February 4, 2012 for Super Saturday Community Service for the tornado victums. We current are striving to build the first home on Saturday and helping other 10 families with clean up from tree debris, rebuilding or repairing damaged outbuildings, barns and fences.
